Andra Day and Andi Matichak
Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is an American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. The accolades she has received include an Grammy Award as well as an Children's and Family Emmy Award as well as a Golden Globe Award. She is also nominated for an Academy Award. Andra is not just an old-fashioned R&B performer, but her gospel jazz roots and blues is presented in a manner that is both effortless and sophisticated. Her debut album Cheers to the Fall (2015) was an immediate success in the genre of R&B/hiphop and led to a number of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Together together with Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day gained a large Youtube following before signing to major label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day released her debut single Forever Mine on YouTube. DJs immediately played the track on radio. After that, she was signed to Warner Bros. Records and began cooperating with her producer, Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album Cheers to the Fall (2015). It featured the track Rise Up which has become an international music video for social justice campaigns. Day was nominated for two Grammys including Best R&B Album. Day released The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, a concept record about the life and career of the jazz icon Billie Holiday. The United States against Billie Holiday was released in 2021. It was the same year she appeared as Holiday. Andi Matichak, a American actress. Her career began in the television series Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her first film role was when she appeared as Allyson in the series of horror Halloween. Andi matichak is an American actor born in Framingham on the 3rd day of May, 1994.
