Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. At the age of two, her mother ran away to protect her from an abusive family. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 to her life and took complete control of her. However it did not work out as planned. Her grandparents took care of her from the age of 12 until adulthood. With the loss of their parents Pickler got too involved in as a mother to her siblings. The mother of three admitted she did not find time to attend classes and started to be a domestic worker at an early stage. Pickler participated in cheerleading at her high and middle schools.
