Zoe-perry

Perry is she is Chicago native who was born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was in the television screen as Jackie Harris, a character which was played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. The parents of her did not want her to perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry claims she never wanted to become an actor during high school but decided to take up performing as a form of social interaction during her time at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry moved to New York, where she got small roles on shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Home sickiness brought Perry back to California, where theater jobs were available. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. Perry was in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was performed in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry starred in nine episodes in 2016 of the ABC drama The Family. In 2017, Perry had the role of a political thriller Scandal alongside her father. She played the role of a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. The part was offered to her through audition, despite the fact that she has a family tie to the role.
